The last few days have seen more and more items getting completed or closer to it!
The carpenter has been on-site this week, as has the painting crew, and the mason.
The painters have the job of not only touching up wall paint, but also staining the window frames, etc.

Also, the carpenter has been busy on and off this week too. Much of his effort has been focused on building the shelving in the closets... and the pantry.
He also installed the crown moulding up in the master bedroom ceiling tray too!
The mason came to the house on Thursday and built the fireplace in one day....! (and it turned out pretty slick!)
On Saturday a friend of Robin's came over and put up some decor in the living room nooks. Jen and Brian do this sort of stuff as a side job/hobby... it looks pretty good!
Some more photos of things that have gone on the last few days.....
The driveway and sidewalk are done and curing... by Monday we'll be able to drive on the driveway.
I'm in the process (today in fact) of filling the area between the sidewalk, driveway, and porch with black dirt before the lawn gets installed (early this week maybe if there's no more rain).
The kitchen faucet was installed too.... with the sink, countertops, and now stained window woodwork I think it all turned out very nice.
Also, the master bathroom shower is now complete... well, other than the shower door, which should arrive last this week or the following week hopefully.
This week is scheduled to bring someone out to the site who hasn't been there before; the cleaning crew!
They're scheduled to be there this week to do a massive job of cleaning up the entire house in preparation for the carpeting to be installed. The carpeting could be installed as early as the end of this week!
The carpenter has things to finish up this week before then, as does the painter. Also, the electrician was on vacation all last week, so tonight Robin and I have to get all the light fixtures to the house so he can begin installing them this week. At some point early this week (I would think) the builder has to get insulation blown into the attic spaces, and the gutters have to be installed.
...and depending on when the weather allows for it, the lawn will be installed some time this week as well. That will kick off alot of running around for me making sure it all gets watered regularly.
I spent alot of time yesterday spreading the wood chips from the large pile in the back yard around areas that won't be part of the grass seeded areas and have a bit more to do today, along with moving that dirt that I mentioned earlier...
It's only about a week until the final inspection date, and less than two weeks until the start of the Parade of Homes!
EDIT: We've come so far and it's been so hectic at times that I found myself a bit nostalgic... so here's a few pics of where all of this started back just over three years ago....
